Dr. Frankline (Frankie) Augustin, MSHA is an award winning Associate Professor in the Health Administration Program at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). She also serves as Special Assistant to the Dean of the College of Health and Human Development. Her research interests include cultural humility, workplace readiness, and investigating strategies that increase diversity in the healthcare workforce. She has facilitated cultural competence/cultural humility seminars and workplace readiness trainings for a variety of groups such as the University of Findlay Ohio, School of Pharmacy, Diversity Grand Rounds; and for ZOE International. Dr. Augustin serves the healthcare community by sitting on the governing board of M.E.N.D. (Meet Each Need with Dignity), a non-profit organization that has one of the largest food banks in the San Fernando Valley along with medical, dental and vision clinics, clothing, homeless care services, as well as support and care through case management services.
